Richard Crookes Constructions has now commenced on site as the main works contractor for the Powerhouse Ultimo Revitalisation project. 

Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC) will deliver the next stage of main works that will revitalise the Powerhouse Ultimo site, delivering world-class, flexible exhibition spaces and a major new public domain, connecting Powerhouse Museum Ultimo to the Sydney CBD, The Goods Line and adjacent cultural precincts, increasing community access to the renowned Powerhouse Collection of more than 500,000 objects.   

With a strong track record delivering complex cultural, heritage and public infrastructure projects across NSW, RCC brings extensive experience in working within active communities and sensitive heritage environments. As construction progresses, RCC will work closely with the project team, stakeholders and the local community to carefully manage works and minimise construction impacts. 

The Infrastructure NSW project team would like to acknowledge the work undertaken by DECC, who delivered the early works and preparation activities on site. These works have played an important role in preparing the site and enabling a smooth transition into the main works phase.
