1 August: Following an open Expression of Interest, three contractors were shortlisted and invited to participate in the Request for Tender (RFT) process.
10 September: Response to Submissions released and placed on public exhibition until 9 October.
Early November: DECC awarded the contract for early works and site establishment began.
25 November: Supplementary Response to Submissions released.
