Community consultation
Community consultation is an important part of the planning process
The State Significant Development Application (SSDA) was re-exhibited from 10 September until 9 October 2024.
Infrastructure NSW subsequently prepared a supplementary Response to Submissions to respond to issues and comments raised through re-exhibition, which was released on the NSW Planning Portal on 25 November 2024.
Final determination on SSDA was made by DPHI on 24 March 2025.
A modification to the approved SSDA was on public exhibition from 17 to 30 July 2025 and was determined on 14 November 2025.
The main works contract has now been awarded.
Modification 2, proposing extended construction hours, is on public exhibition from 4 to 18 September 2026.
